Guidelines for using our website and services
Thanks for visiting ‘Deep Etch Service’. By accessing our website or placing an order for our deep-etch services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Our Editing Services
Deep Etch Service provides professional product image editing. Our service includes deep etching, background removal, color correction, shadow creation, and retouching.
We reserve the right to stop, pause or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice if something unwanted happens.
All work is performed manually by our editing team.
2. Placing An Order & Payment
You must place your order via our official website or approved channels.
Full payment is required before delivery of final edited images unless a separate written arrangement is made.
Pricing shown on our website applies at the time of order. We may revise price lists at any time. Orders placed under an agreed quotation will be honored at that rate.
We accept payments through recognized secure gateways in AUD (Australian Dollars).
3. Delivery & Timelines
Estimated turnaround times will be provided at the time of order confirmation.
We always aim to deliver on schedule, delays can occur due to high volume, complexity or client revisions. If delivery is delayed, we will notify you.
Rush orders or special turnaround requests may incur additional fees.
4. Revisions & Quality Assurance
If the delivered images do not meet the specifications you provided, you are eligible for revisions at no extra cost, provided you request them within 10 days of delivery.
Revisions that fall outside the original brief such as new editing style, additional changes will need extra charges.
After final approval or more than 3 days following delivery, any further edits will be treated as new work.
5. Client Content & Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing clear, high-resolution original image files and for ensuring you have rights to use and edit those files.
We are not liable for problems arising from poor image quality, unsupported file types, or incomplete instructions.
Your brief must clearly state what editing you require. Misleading or vague instructions may affect the outcome.
6. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
You retain ownership of the original image files you upload.
Upon full payment, we grant you a non-exclusive license to use the edited images for commercial, e-commerce, promotional or personal purposes unless stated otherwise.
We retain copyright over our editing methods, workflow templates and any sample previews.
Unless you instruct us in writing otherwise, we may use a low-resolution version of your edited images in our portfolio or for marketing.
7. Confidentiality & File Handling
We maintain industry-standard practices to protect the confidentiality and security of your files during transfer and storage.
We are not responsible for data loss or corruption caused by external factors, such as internet outages, device malfunctions or unapproved client file uploads.
We may retain your project files for up to 60 days post-delivery for revision or retrieval requests; thereafter they may be deleted. You can also request for early deletion.
8. Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds will only be considered if the delivered work materially fails to meet your clearly stated specifications, and you notify us within 05 days of delivery. Refunds are not available for:
- Change of mind after editing has commenced.
- Files that were unsuitable low resolution, out of focus, unsupported format.
- Delay or outcome due to unclear instructions.
If you cancel an order after work has begun, you may be charged a cancellation fee to cover any work already completed.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Deep Etch Service will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss arising from use of our services, including loss of profits, data or reputation.
Our total liability to you in respect of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot by law be excluded.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version becomes effective as soon as it is posted on our website.
Your continued use of our services following changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
